A 750 lb self-supported platform lift carries wheelchair users and others between the two floors, so the second floor is reachable by everyone. Lifts of this kind from Savaria are built for up to 14 ft of travel in the U.S., and run without a machine room. This floor-to-floor height is 12 ft.
The plan requires signed and sealed shop drawings from a New Jersey licensed engineer.
