The building we are raising
The approved expansion grows Masjid Bilal from 8,560 sq ft to 21,320 sq ft. It adds a 10,285 sq ft multipurpose hall, a 2,605 sq ft sisters' prayer hall, a computing lab, and larger restrooms and ablution areas for brothers and sisters.

- Choose a need. Browse by area or search for something specific. Each one shows its goal and what is left.
- Give any amount. Register once, then donate $5 or more toward a need, or add several needs to your cart and donate to them all at once.
- Complete your payment. We email you (and text you, if you chose texts) how to pay by card, Zelle, PayPal, Venmo or check. Once the office confirms your payment, it shows on the progress bar and you get a receipt by email.
Questions
Can I give anonymously?
Yes. Tick “Give anonymously” when you contribute and the public list shows “Anonymous.” The office still sees who gave, so it can match your payment.
Where does my contribution go?
To Muslim Society of Jersey Shore, Inc., for the masjid building project. Each need on this site is a real line in the building plans.
When does my donation show on the progress bar?
When the office confirms your payment, not when you choose the item. Until then your amount is held for you for about three weeks so nobody over-promises.
What happens when a need is fully funded?
It closes and shows as Fully funded, and its square on the home page turns gold. Anyone who gave can see it completed.
Do I get a receipt?
Yes. As soon as the office confirms your payment, we email you an itemized receipt. Checks can take 10 to 14 working days to arrive and be confirmed.
