About Us

At Masjid Bilal, we have committed ourselves to establishing a community dedicated to the sake of Allah.

In recent years, our Masjid has experienced remarkable growth, bringing together individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds and cultures for the sake of Allah. Insha’Allah, we aspire to expand our community even further! Our intention is to learn about Islam and apply its teachings in our lives, seeking Allah’s mercy and the reward of paradise.

Mission

Masjid Bilal, also known as the Muslim Society of Jersey Shore, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit religious organization affiliated with the North American Islamic Trust Inc. (NAIT).

We serve the communities of Toms River Township, as well as Ocean, Burlington, Atlantic, and Cape May Counties, along the Jersey Shore. Our organization is committed to promoting the Islamic way of life based on the teachings of the Qur’an and the exemplary life of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him), through various member activities focused on education, sports, and civic involvement. We welcome everyone to join us for the five daily prayers and Jumu’ah (Friday) prayers. Additionally, we offer Sunday memorization classes for the Qur’an, along with Islamic and Arabic studies for both children and adults.

Throughout the year, we celebrate Ramadan and the Eid feasts, as well as other community events and condolence gatherings. Our aim is to serve as a center for religious development, social, economic, and educational growth, cultural enrichment, and to promote excellence in community life and human dignity across our neighborhoods, city, and country.

Our vision is to create a vibrant faith community that values the inherent worth of every individual. We operate with the highest level of Shura (consultation) and have the support of our thriving community.
